Recognized Actions:
1. Working to remove all plastic utensils and disposable cups
2. No longer use disposable water bottles at school functions.
3. Sent a "shout out" to the community via newsletter and Facebook for donations of metal cutlery and reusable tumblers
Other Actions:
1. Their eco-club is now moving into its 2nd year of the Eco Schools commitment. Last year through various efforts, this school became eco-certified at a Silver level. Various initiatives were put into place last year such as promoting the importance of water and giving each student in the school a refillable water bottle!
